Reflection

I learned how to incorporate insights from my references into my creative process, transforming them into meaningful sketches. By actively seeking and reflecting on feedback, I was able to refine my work and significantly improve my sketches.

DIGITAL SURREALISM
A unique take on Realism, this approach delves into the subconscious mind, focusing on dreamlike imagery and often distorting the ordinary to challenge our perception of reality.

Sketch Process

I began by sketching out my initial ideas, drawing inspiration from the references I had gathered.

Figure 2 Traditional Sketch

I drew out a simple fast sketch of the composition for my understanding and then I redrew it digitally.

Figure 3 Sketches

I revisited and redrew the traditional sketch, putting extra effort into refining the details. Additionally, I created an alternative sketch as a backup, just in case the original idea didn’t achieve the desired outcome.

Mr. Hafiz from Illustration & Visual Narrative, gave me a few advices on how I should improve my typography to fit into the illustration. So I followed his advice and completed the final sketch.
