Reflection

Throughout this week, I applied the knowledge and skills I’ve gained over the past three months to my work. The process went smoothly overall, though I did encounter challenges, particularly with selecting images and adjusting their colors. Despite these difficulties, I was able to persevere and successfully complete the tasks.

Digitalization Process

First I had to take pictures of myself so I did a small photoshoot at home to take a picture for the main subject in the composition. Then I had help from my friends to help take a picture of me in my cosplay for the other pictures in the composition.

I did some color editing for each photo since some of them were either too dark or too bright in contrast.

After that, I selected the myself and got rid of the background for each picture and arranged the pictures following how I did it in my sketch.

I used some images from google for the table and photo frame and a few other elements.

I added more images and effects. I took an image from google and changed the filter so that my picture would fit into the TV. I added a little glow using soft light and color dodge. As for the photo frame I changed the lighting to fit myself into the background of the environment and made my hand coming out of the frame as if I was coming out of it.

Figure 6 More Elements Added

I found an image from google of the tail of the character and slightly changed its perspective and distorted how the tail was shaped. Then I changed the color of the tail to slightly fit the picture in the frame. I added a few more elements like words and made a cut out of myself in normal clothing to stand out more. 

I did try to add other objects however, it did not fit well with the composition and I decided to lessen the objects and made it more simple so it wouldn't look too cluttered.
