Week 3

This week, our tutor conducted a tutorial on HTML. I followed the tutorial thouroughly.

Week 4

For this week, our tutor went through with us on how to decorate our web page.

Exercise 2

Figure 1.1 Screenshot Web Page Tutorial

I followed the step by step tutorial that was shared on screen to us as he walked us through what to do and explained what we had to add. I did have some slight trouble finding my mistakes since it was my first time making a web page manually.

This was where we left off and were tasked to complete our biography. I fixed my minor mistakes which were mostly typing </> to close them.

This was the result of what we were following which was amazing to see it form as we had to manually type in the html.

I filled in the necessary things for the web page about me.

On week 4, we had to use DreamWeaver and continue where we left off from week 3. We were first taught to add in our profile pictures first. It was pretty simple just by adding the image and adjusting the size. The background was slightly confusing since there were many things we had to type out but since Mr. Shamsul walked us step-by-step, the process was a breeze.

This is the final outcome of the web page and we needed to publish it on Netlify and submit the link.

Reflection

During this exercise, I never thought I would enjoy how to code which is surprising. Mr. Shamsul taught the class with patience and really helped us when we needed help. After doing this exercise, I finally understand how hard it is but also see why some people like doing it. I had minor mistakes during the process of making the web page but I had friends who helped m spot those mistakes and pointed it out so I could correct them and vise versa.
