Instructions

Week 5

These were some of the example samples of scenarios we could use to create our auditory imaging.

1. Wildlife + Background
2. Everyday Home Life + Background
3. Cities + Transport + Exterior Atmosphere
4. Industry and Electronic sounds + Background
5. Weather + Background
6. Market + Rural atmosphere + Background

Task 2

It took me a while to come up with a scenario I liked, since there were so many things we could do for auditory imaging. I actually wanted to create a beach scenario but I found that it would be a little boring and instead I prompted to a horror suspense scenario in a dystopian city.

Feedback

Week 7

He advised me to try making some of my audio, example the street lamps to be off center by panning it to either the left of right so it doesn't sound like it's moving along with the main character's POV.

Reflection

This project was honestly really fun. I've always liked listening to audios like ASMR and wonder how those Asmrtists make such amazing audios. Although for this project we weren't able to create our own audio, I learned a lot from understanding when and where to put my audios to make it sound alive.
