Instructions
Process
In this project, we had to make a poster using pasta grannies recipes. The
recipe I chose was "Bread Dumpling".

Figure 1.1 Sketch & Organising
I imported the sketch into illustrator. After that, I organised all the layers
so that it is easier to separated what part I needed to put in.
I used the brushes provided in Illustrator and followed my sketch as
guidelines to make the illustrations.
Figure 1.3 Completed Illustration Instructions
Here is the completed illustration of the instructions.
After completing all the instruction illustrations, I organized the
instructions following my tutor's advice. I made the flow of the process using
the clockwise method.
Then it was time to move on to the center illustration.
After that, Im finally able to add in the instruction words. I had to find a
way to reduce the size of the words so that it wouldn't touch the center or
the margins but also make sure it wasn't too small and readable.

Feedback
Week 5
For this week, my tutor said he liked the idea of the separated final dish.
However, the instructions did not fit the flow of the poster. So he advised
me to use the clockwise method for the flow.
Week 6
This week, he gave me some advice to align the instructions properly. Then
add the numbers for each of the phases and add a background to make the
center look more important. After that he said I should also add arrows to
direct the process.
Week 7
For the final week, he approved of the design saying that there was no need
for anymore changes.
Reflection
This assignment was quite interesting, having to make an infographic poster
using the pasta grannies recipe. Receiving feedback on what I could improve
on really helped me understand how to make sure that the design appeals to
the viewer's eye and also have a good flow to understand the information.
Overall, I'm quite happy with my poster design.
