Lecture
Lecture 1 - Week 1
Iconic: Stylized designed characters are often iconic that you can immediately recognize them even in black silhouttes.
Simplicity: This is because the simplicity of the design allows viewers to digest and understand the purpose of the characters easily.
Unique: Which in return makes them unique characters that are not only memorable, but makes an impact on the viewers!
Lecture 2 - Week 2

In this lecture, we learn about how to use contrast in our compositions to show a dramatic lighting in an illustration. By using negative VS positive spaces to create an attractive scene.

Types of Shots
Establishing: To portray spectacle and give audiences the chance to take in all the splendor and grandeur of a location,
Bird's Eyeview: The POV is placed directly above the subject.
Frame within a Frame: A well-composed frame within a frame can fracture screen space, add depth, and create visual interest in your cinematic compositions.
Medium Show: It’s the shot in-between a close-up and a long shot.
Close-Up: The close-up is an intimate moment, a look into a character’s mind.
Worm's Eyeview: A shot from the bottom view.
Exercises
Week 1
Mr. Hafiz provided us with essential resources, including briefings and lecture slides, to kick off our first week.
Week 2
In tutorial, Mr. Hafiz gave us an exercise to try called "The Beizer Game" where it teaches and tests our knowledge on how we tackle each shapes. It was pretty simple and fun, it helped me learn a few keys I did not know before.
Week 3
Mr. Hafiz taught us how to use pathfinder in Adobe Illustrator which was a life saver.
In this image, he taught us how to use the shape tool and use keys to align on the adidas logo.

Next, we used shape builder to combine the shapes and then use pathfinder to divide certain areas. After that, we delete the paths that were not necessary.
