3. Reflection


During this project, I was excited to explore stop-motion animation, especially since I was also researching it in another module. Although brainstorming the concept was challenging at first, inspiration struck when I connected the theme of tarot cards to a world of historical fantasies with kings and witches. Once my idea was approved, I quickly moved into storyboarding and editing, though I struggled with background editing in some scenes, which was stressful but ultimately manageable. I also had the chance to experience different production roles, volunteering as art director and unexpectedly acting due to limited team members. Despite initial nerves about remembering lines, the shoot went smoothly and was a lot of fun thanks to my supportive and passionate group. Overall, this module taught me valuable skills in visual effects, production work, and teamwork, giving me a deeper appreciation for the creative process behind filmmaking.
